Warner Bros Working on Live-Action Movie BLEACH

After obtaining a license from Tite Kubo, Warner Bros finally started working on the adaptation film of the live-action BLEACH. This production will involved Peter Segal (Get Smart and Anger Management director), Dan Mazeau (screenwriter of the Wrath of the Titans) and Masi Oka (Hiro Nakamura figures cast in the television series Heroes).

The script will be written by Dan Mazeau, known as the screenwriter Wrath of the Titans. Meanwhile, Peter Segal will act as producer, and possibly also as a director.

Michael Ewing, a close friend of Peter Segal, also will act as producer. Ewing also involves Masi Oka (Heroes actor) and Jason Hoffs (producer of The Terminal) as the producer of this film. VIZ Media, BLEACH publishers in the United States, will also be involved. Executive producer is Branon Coluccio, then Jon Berg Warner Bros will be in charge of overseeing its cultivation.

So there will be four producers who will be involved in the cultivation of live-action film BLEACH: Peter Segal, Michael Ewing, Masi Oka, and Jason Hoffs. No word yet who will play a role as an actor.

Masi Oka is itself a big fan of manga and American comics. In the film series Heroes, he plays Hiro Nakamura, a fan of comics that have the power to control time. Oka much inspired from Dragon Ball when acting as Hiro Nakamura. He himself thought of himself as a fan of Naoki Urasawa and Shounen JUMP.
