Black and white comic strip extends along a kilometer on the banks of the River Rhone, Lyon, France, on Saturday, May 28, 2011. This comic strip was designed by a team of 11 authors and 111 designer and recorded by the Guinness World Record as the largest and longest comic strip world.
Comics are completed within just 24 hours.
"At first everyone thought it was a crazy idea," said Mathieu Diez, director of the Lyon Comic Festival. "But we can prove, and we did it!"
The comic is a black and white images without words, tell the character of Tarzan along the 1000 meters.
"This is good for pedestrians like me," said a woman who daily pass through this pathway to the workplace. "Not bad for relieving fatigue."
